Happy Birthday Luke!!!

My baby boy is 4 years old today!! It seems like yesterday we were all gathered at the hospital anxiously awaiting his arrival and now he's about to go to "big" school. I can't believe it! How does time fly by so quickly?! He has changed so much in the past year and has grown about a foot. He still loves to play with his trains and cars, but for the past few months has really been in to working puzzles. He's pretty good at them too...he only want's to work the hard one's. He knows how to count objects on a page and loves reading his number books. We are working on recognizing letters of the alphabet. He knows all of the shapes, even those "odd" ones. The other day he brought me one of Chris' tools and said "That's an octagon." He was right too! He's also learned to pedal his tricycle instead of pushing it with his feet. I love to watch him grow and learn new things, I just wish I could slow time down just a bit. The years are passing by much too quickly!

1 down....3 to go....

I just finished my final exams for this semester! Yeah!!! Now I have a short break, then it's back to work for next semster... I don't know what I will do with myself! I won't know how to act not having to "Google" something or read powerpoints and text books for the next 3 weeks... I'm sure I can find something to do!

The Biggest Surprise!!

Yesterday Addie surprised us with a visit. She has grown so much since the last time we saw her and was full of smiles showing us her beautiful personality. She is such a little ham! She loved the camera and all the attention she was getting! Thank you Jennifer and Julien for bringing her to visit.

Gulf Shores

This past weekend we went with my parents and Paul, Candace, and Chloe to Gulf Shores to spend a few days on the coast. We had a great time and got lots of sun and ate lots of good food. All the kids had such a great time. They are now official beach bums! It was a fight to get them to leave this morning...Kaylyn says she's moving to the beach when she is grown!

Beach Pics

We tried to take some good pics of the kids on the beach, but they were all tired by this point and not really in a picture taking mood. I did manage to get a few good ones though...enjoy...

And...More Beach Pics

Playing on the Beach

Chloe's first taste of sand...love the look on her face!

Lovin' the Waves

Beach Bums

Luke is terrified of water, this is as close as he would get. He loved running up to the waves and then running away from them!
Catching some rays
Luke digging to China...Paul told Luke to dig a big deep hole and he would dig all the way to China. He also told him when he started getting close, little Chinese people would start popping out of his hole! Luke took this job very seriously, he dug for 3 days!
Catching some seashells
Yes....he's doing what you think he's doing! I guess this is one of the joys of being of the male species!

Guess Where We Are....

I thought these were the sweetest pictures. The kids are loving the beach. More pics to come....

Filled to the Brim

It's times like this when I miss my gas guzzling Pilot. I don't think one more thing could have fit in my car! (The front was just as packed as the trunk!)

Gotta Love the Fred Flintstone Car...

This car was Kaylyn's and then Luke's...looks like Chloe's taking the wheel now! That car has been driven many miles by little feet!

Bath Time!!

This is how we have to bathe Crimson now. She has gotten too big to bathe in the house. She loves being sprayed with the hose pipe....I'm sure it feels good after being in the 800 degree heat all day!

Chris' New Ride

Chris' truck finally bit the dust this week, so he went and bought him another one. He's so proud of it.
