This kid comes up with some of the funniest stuff sometimes, and he doesn't even know he's being funny. Today on the way home from daycare, we were riding down highway 78 and got behind this paw-paw driver going about 30 mph in the fast lane (I hate when people do this!!). There were 3 or 4 cars lined up behind him so I just passed them all. (By the way, this is a 4 lane highway) Luke started fussing at me. He said "MAMA!!!" I said "What Luke?" He said, "You have to stay in line!!! It's not nice to break ahead of people!!!!" He was so serious about the whole thing. I thought this was so cute, I just had to share!

Happy Birthday To Me!!
This is my frog cake, I hated to cut it, but I did of course. I just can't turn down good cake! Chris said he opted for the 3 and 0 candles instead of 30 individual candle, because he didn't want to set off the fire alarms. How Mean! I had to remind him that he will ALWAYS be older!

(But don't have too much fun, we want you to come back home!) We'll miss you!

Bad Blogging...
Sorry for the bad blogging. Things have been pretty crazy around here. Let's just say the New Year started with a BANG around the Chilton house. I think things may finally be returning to normal now. I hope so anyway!
Life Is A Highway
Here is a little taste of Luke's singing. I'm thinking of sending it to American Idol....Ha! Don't forget to pause the music.
More Funny Stories From Kaylyn
A couple of weeks ago, Kaylyn came home from school and said:
"We learned about a King today, who had a 'dream.' His dream was about all people being equal, no matter what color their skin is. I'm not sure where he was king though"
I said: "Do you mean Martin Luther King, Jr?"
She said: "Yeah, that's him."
I just had to laugh, she thought she was learning about a real King of somewhere. I had to explain, that "King" was his LAST name!
Then, last week, she came home and said, "I had a headache at school today, so I had to go to the school nurse for some 'advice'. I said, "Well what did she 'advise you to do?"
